Fellow Vessel is an anthemic Indie rock band hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area. The band’s resonant sound is comprised of the soulful and dynamic songwriting abilities of singer/guitarist Robin Sawaya, and amplified by the skilled drumming of Max Salmon, guitar/keys Kevin Arquines and Bassist Andrew Pannell. Together the magnetic and polished music they produce can be comparable to the likes of “Young The Giant” and “Kings of Leon."
Death by Fireworks
Death by Fireworks is an indie-rock trio based out of Livermore, CA consisting of Jake Russo (electric/acoustic guitar &vox), Christopher Harrell (drums & back up vox) and Daniel King (bass and backup vox). Our sound is comprised of heavy drums, driving bass and shimmering guitars. Our influences include Death Cab for Cutie, Transit, Balance and Composure, The Almost, The Rocket Summer, and Pedro the Lion.
Serf and James
They began as a duo back in 2006. From musicals, to open mics, to a full band. Their full sound has been described as a mix between Jeff Buckley, with hints of Muse and a dash of Bruno Mars. Fresh off the BottleRock 2017 stage and with a second EP on the horizon, they may one day be a household name. So far they have a stronghold on just the bathrooms, but pretty soon, the whole house...trust me.
Hailing from Oakland, California, Slow Lode is a band of hooligans with musical influences ranging from krautrock to jazzy lounge music. They came together in 2015 and now - after over a year of jamming, songwriting and mad taco grubbing - are ready to bring what they have developed to a broader platform.
“Most unusual....Great ideas....Lots of promise....”
Ray Manzarek - Battle of the Bands
“The young group is catchy and engaging enough to garner admiration from both teenaged screamo fans and older college-rock aficionados. ...[with such] well-written songs that it’s a wonder [t]his band is still playing local shows.”
Gabe Meline - The Bohemian
“Wav is a good first record full of well-crafted songs that vary in genre but in that magical way sound like they’re still being played by the same band. It’s an EP that has peaked my interest and leaves me wondering what they have up their sleeves for a full length.”
